Committees

The work of the LWVN is done through committees.  Committees work to plan events, engage with voters, plan candidate forums, study issues of interest, take action on local issues, and so much more.  Usually, any work or action proposed by a committee must be presented to the Board of Directors for its approval.  Current committees and their members are listed below.  Other subcommittees are formed as the interest and need arises.

Committee meetings usually take place at a member’s home and are listed on our calendar.  Members are welcome to participate in any subcommittee that they are interested in.  Please contact us to express your interest.
