Thanks to all who joined us today at the Waban Library Center to talk about how/why we joined the League and how we can get involved. We heard from Arlington LWV member Colleen Kirby about a new LWVMA program to build stronger connections between our state representation and individual Leagues. Colleen also shared information about our state criminal justice system and legislation that the League is working to support.

All are welcome to come to the New Members’ Tea on Sunday, March 18 from 3 to 5 pm at the Waban Library Center, 1608 Beacon Street Newton, MA 02468. We will meet and greet new and long-time members, share our thoughts about the League, and hear from Colleen Kirby of the LWVMA about the Legislative Envoy Program and criminal justice reform.
