On Thursday, April 10, at 7:00 pm, the Massachusetts Campaign for Single Payer Health Care (MASS-CARE) will hold the 10th Middlesex Community Forum on Medicare for All, A Single Payer Health System for MA, a program co-sponsored by LWVN, at American Legion Post 440, 295 California Street, Newton.
The program will be hosted by Alison Leary, Newton City Councilor-at-Large. Keynote speakers are Don Berwick M.D., MPP, FRCP, and Gordon Schiff, M.D. The forum will address how Medicare for All is funded and what kind of savings to expect for communities, families and individuals; how can we prevent “Steward Hospital” disasters in future? what are the challenges? how can we achieve fair, equitable and high-quality healthcare in the Commonwealth for all?
