On March 4th, 2025, LWVN joined other leagues throughout the U.S. in “Light For Our Democracy” by holding a community gathering on the steps of Newton City Hall. Democracy is not just a system of government—it’s the power of, by, and for the people. It begins with us, our voices, and our votes. At a time when democracy is under threat, we remember that it is important to come together to defend it.
