On February 14, 2025 (the 105th anniversary of the founding of the League of Women Voters), LWVUS, along with all 51 state Leagues, issued a letter to Congress, expressing concern regarding Congress’s abdication of its duty and authority under Article I of the US Constitution. and urging them to exercise their authority to protect the rule of law, defend the Constitution, and end the overreach by the executive branch of government.
