Three candidates are running for the position of Ward Councilor in Wards 2 and 6. A preliminary election will be held on Tuesday, September 12 to narrow the selection of candidates to two for the general election in November. Please note that only Ward 2 residents can vote in the Ward 2 Ward Councilor election, and only Ward 6 residents can vote in the Ward 6 Ward Councilor election.

Ward 2 Voters: Please Note Voting Location Change
Voters in Ward 2 Precinct 1 will have a new voting location for 2023 and possibly beyond. The former voting location was the Field House on Albemarle Road next to the Gath Pool. The new voting location will be the Scandinavian Living Center located at the intersection of Crafts & Waltham Streets in West Newton. The address is 206 Waltham Street. For all voters, please be sure to verify your voting location before heading out to the polls.
