  • Programs & Services 6-20:  Ballot Question regulating the number of recreational marijuana establishments COUNCILORS ALBRIGHT AND KRINTZMAN requesting that the City Council place on the ballot, at a special election to be held in November 2018, a question as to whether the City of Newton shall limit the number of retail recreational marijuana

  • Recodification Committee 7-1:  City Seal Ordinance – this item has been docketed and initially discussed in Programs & Services.  The committee encourages the discussion to be finished up and reported to the Council. (Culturally insensitive seal below)
    Update Purchasing Section of Ordinances
    The Committee encourages the Law Department to review with the appropriate departments the following items and docket requests for change as soon as practicable:
    Engineering’s Stormwater Management Policy and Ordinance to be consistent.
    Develop a Revolving Funds Ordinance to Meet Municipal Modernization requirements.
    Clarify who has control of Parking on Municipal Property.
