Please join us for an upcoming Community Meeting led by the City of Newton regarding the renovation of Levingston Cove at Crystal Lake. This cove’s deterioration impacts the health of lake, and the Crystal Lake Conservancy secured State funding for Newton to help address this concern. Our partnership with the Parks and Recreation Department along with the leadership support of Representative Ruth Balser, Representative Kay Khan, and Senator Cynthia Creem led to this exciting design phase of the project managed by the City. The meeting will be on Wednesday, May 30th at 7:00 pm in Druker Auditorium at the Newton Free Library. The City has retained the services of Weston & Sampson to design a plan for improving Levingston Cove, and comments from the public are welcome during this meeting.
