  • 2-12 Special Meeting City Council:  SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT FLEISHMAN requesting a vote of the City Council to authorize the superintendent of Schools to submit a request to the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) for consideration of funding for boiler replacement project(s).
  • 2-12 Needham Street Vision: Community Engagement Group at the Barry Price Center, 27 Christina Street. Topic:  Land Use Mix and Economic Development.
  • 2-12 Zoning and Planning:  Public hearing on lodging houses, recreational marijuana establishments.  
  • 2-13 CPC:  working session and possible funding vote on $2,575,000 in additional CPA funding requested for final design & construction of the Crescent Street project.
  • 2-15 160R Stanton Avenue Redevelopment Project: Temple Reyim, Offit Room, 1860 Washington Street, Auburndale, you are invited to join the Jewish Community Housing for the Elderly (JCHE) for the first of a series of neighborhood meetings to plan for the expansion of the Golda Meir House property. In November 2017, JCHE was designated by the City of Newton to develop the water tower parcel to expand the Golda Meir House with additional affordable apartments and services for seniors, as well as 9‐12 units of housing for the chronically homeless.
