LWVN/NewTV Candidates’ Forums are starting and we need your questions! On Monday, September 25th, we will be taping forums for Ward 1 At-Large Councilor, Ward 1 School Committee, and Ward 3 At-Large Councilor. Your questions can be general to all candidates for a position, or specific to a particular ward.
We will try to get to as many questions as possible, but please know that we sometimes have to combine or adjust them given our time constraints and policy of asking the same question for all candidates. We especially appreciate questions that are one or two sentences long, and focused on one topic.
While the forums are not televised live, you are welcome to join us and watch a live feed in the NewTV conference room (light refreshments provided.) They will be aired on NewTV at a later date, and will also be available on their website, newtv.org.
Monday’s forums schedule is expected to run on time, but please be patient with us:
- 5- 6 pm: Ward 1 At-Large Councilor
- 6 – 7 pm: Ward 1 School Committee
- 7 – 8 pm: Ward 3 At-Large Councilor
