  • 5-8-17 Zoning: Ordinance amendments relative to rDNA technology and research facilities; Rezoning of 160 R Stanton Avenue to Multi Residence 3; Zoning Ordinance technical amendment; Newton Historical Commission recommendation to establish a Newton Highlands Historic District.
  • 5-9-17 Land Use: : 966 Watertown St: extend the nonconforming use to allow a manufacturing use; 37 Troy Lane: vertically extend the nonconforming front setback; 49‐51 Clinton Road: extend the nonconforming use and floor area ratio;  62 Walnut Park: convert an accessory structure to more than two‐families and change the use of a nonconforming structure; and 45 Farwell St: extend the nonconforming use to allow allow a residential unit.  The Committee will also consider a consistency ruling in in conjunction to 39 Hawthorne Avenue.
