Retired Attorney Deirdre Robbins will explain how the Constitution, and in particular the Bill of Rights, were ratified and developed over time, and how the Supreme Court came to have the power of “judicial review,” which has given it the final word in our tripartite system of government. President-elect Trump will appoint at least one and possibly as many as four Supreme Court justices. Robbins will explore some of the areas where the law may change.
