This year’s theme is “Democracy in Danger; Money, Media and Manipulation” and will be held on Wednesday, April 25, in the Gardner Auditorium at the State House on Beacon Street in Boston. Registration begins at 9:30am, and the program starts at 10:00am. Keynote speakers are Pam Wilmot, Executive Director of Common Cause Massachusetts, Jay Kaufman, MA State Representative and Robert Kuttner, author. LWVMA Specialists will also discuss important legislation the state League is following.
Lobbying the state legislature is one of the defining activities of the League of Women Voters, and everyone who shows up in person makes an enormous difference to the success of our legislative efforts.
