We have lots of information on the candidates for voters to use in preparation for the November 7th election!

Be sure to vote on November 7th!  If you need a ride to the polls, or can help others by driving them to the polls, please contact us at info@lwvnewton.org.  And remember…democracy is not a spectator sport!

Six forums are now available on NewTV, with five more due out this upcoming week.  You can now watch LWVN/NewTV Candidates’ Forums for the following races:

LWVN Voters’ Guide: VOTE411.org is here!

At last! LWVN’s Voters’ Guide is available by visiting www.VOTE411.org!  Add your address on the first page, then click on the GREEN button, and you’ll have candidates’ answers to each of three questions.  You can compare the responses of two candidates side-by-side.  ALL candidates for office, whether in contested or uncontested races, were invited to participate. Answers were limited to 500 characters (about 100 words).
